Bandwidth cost

Type GB, a price, and free GB. 500, 0.05 and 0 give 25,00 zł. 1200, 0.08 and 100 give 88,00 zł. 80, 0.12 and 100 give 0,00 zł. A typed rate, not an AWS list.

(GB minus free) times price, not an AWS list. Window time lives on backup window.

How it works

Bandwidth cost in this calculator multiplies billable GB by the typed price. 500, 0.05 and 0 give 25,00 zł. 1200, 0.08 and 100 give 88,00 zł. 80, 0.12 and 100 give 0,00 zł, because 80 sits under free 100. Not a live AWS list and not a GCP invoice.

Field bw-gb is the volume. Field bw-price is the rate per GB. Field bw-free-gb is the free threshold. Billable is max(0, GB minus free). Then times the price. The currency symbol follows the header, not Amazon.

25,00 zł is 500 times 0.05. 88,00 zł is 1100 times 0.08. 0,00 zł is zero billable GB. Another price at 500 changes 25,00 zł. The calculator does not pull a regional price list.

Backup window next door divides GB by pace. Cloud storage cost multiplies stored GB. Here 500 and 0.05 stay 25,00 zł, egress from three fields.

Type 500, 0.05 and 0, then Calculate. A comma in 0.05 parses. Zero in the price leaves 0,00 zł. A sketch from the typed rate, not a cloud quote.

500, 0.05 and 0 give 25,00 zł. 1200, 0.08 and 100 give 88,00 zł. 80, 0.12 and 100 give 0,00 zł. Other free GB at 500 changes the result.

Formula

cost = max(0, GB minus free) × price. Header currency, not an AWS list.

How to use

  1. Type GB, for example 500.
  2. Type price 0.05 and free 0.
  3. Click Calculate. The result is 25,00 zł.
  4. 1200, 0.08 and 100 give 88,00 zł. 80, 0.12 and 100 give 0,00 zł.
  5. A typed rate, not an AWS list.

500 GB at 0.05 = 25,00 zł

(GB minus free) times price. 500, 0.05 and 0 give 25,00 zł. Not an AWS list.

Bandwidth
The typed volume. 500 GB at 0.05 with no free tier leaves 25,00 zł.
free
The bw-free-gb threshold. 100 at 80 GB gives 0,00 zł. 100 at 1200 leaves 88,00 zł.
price
The rate per GB. 0.05 at 500 gives 25,00 zł. Not an AWS list.

Examples

Example 1

  • 500 GB
  • price 0.05
  • free 0

25,00 zł

What does 500 GB at 0.05 with no free tier cost? 25,00 zł. (GB minus free) times price, not AWS.

Example 2

  • 1200 GB
  • price 0.08
  • free 100

88,00 zł

What about 1200, 0.08 and 100 free? 88,00 zł.

Example 3

  • 80 GB
  • price 0.12
  • free 100

0,00 zł

What about 80 GB, 0.12 and 100 free? 0,00 zł. Under the threshold.

Common questions

What about 500 GB, 0.05 and 0 free?

25,00 zł. 500 times 0.05. A typed rate.

What about 1200, 0.08 and 100?

88,00 zł. 1100 billable times 0.08.

What about 80, 0.12 and 100?

0,00 zł. 80 sits under free 100, so max(0, …) stays 0.

Is this an AWS list?

No. The calculator does not load regional prices. You type the rate.

Why zł in 25,00 zł?

The extras scan used PLN in the header. Another header currency changes the symbol, not the formula.

Is 25,00 zł a month?

Only if the typed GB is a month. The result is for the volume you type.

Does a comma in 0.05 work?

Yes. 0.05 and 0,05 parse the same way.

Where do I time those GB?

On backup window. Here the cost stays.

Does CDN come off the calculator?

No. A flat rate times billable GB. No tiers and no invoice tax.
