Yoga calories take a MET from the list, mass, and minutes. The formula is MET × kg × hours. The default typical session is 2.5 MET. Seventy kilograms and 60 minutes at 2.5 give 175. The same 70 kg and 45 minutes give 131.25, 131 on the page. Hatha 2.3 MET at 80 kg and an hour gives 184. Power 4 MET at 70 kg and an hour gives 280. Pose names are not fields.
People land here hoping the mat will match a bike ride. At 2.5 MET it will not. Sixty kilograms and 90 minutes at 2.5 give 225. Ninety kilograms and 30 minutes at 2.5 give 112.5, 113 on the page. Seventy-five kilograms, 45 minutes, and 4 MET give 225, the same as a longer session at a lower mass by another path. Fifty-five kilograms, 20 minutes, and 2.3 MET give 42.
Hatha 2.3 and power 4 are two rungs, not one bag. A gentler vinyasa may sit nearer 2.5. A hot room and work without pauses change how it feels, not this product from three labels. Savasana counts if you were on the mat in those minutes. The formula does not cut rest.
