How it works

Property tax in this calculator is value times rate over 100. 400000 × 0.89% = 3560. The result is 3560,00 zł. 250000 × 0.50% gives 1250,00 zł. 600000 at 1% gives 6000,00 zł.

The value field is the base. The rate field is a percent, not cash per square metre. 0.89 at 400000 gives 3560 because that is how the code multiplies. A Polish gmina often bills zł/m² from floor area, not from value.

There are no m² here and no council table. 250000 and 0.50% is 1250,00 zł whether the building is 80 or 200 metres. The calculator does not ask for metres.

Rent and area next door divides an amount by metres. VAT multiplies a net. Here only a percent of value. 1% at 600000 leaves 6000,00 zł.

Type 400000 and 0.89, then Calculate. A comma in 0.89 parses. A product sketch, not a municipal assessment.

400000 at 0.89% gives 3560,00 zł. 250000 at 0.50% gives 1250,00 zł. 600000 at 1% gives 6000,00 zł. Another rate at the same value gives another result.

Formula

tax = value × (rate / 100)

  2. Type the rate in percent, for example 0.89.

400000 at 0.89% = 3560,00 zł
