Inheritance tax

Type an estate value and a rate. 500000 at 7% gives 35 000,00 zł. 200000 at 12% gives 24 000,00 zł. 100000 at 0% gives 0,00 zł. The label already says example.

Not groups I to IV and not a tax-free amount. The calculator multiplies value by a typed percent. Another tax on an amount lives on income tax.

How it works

Inheritance tax in this calculator is value times rate over 100. 500000 × 7% = 35000. The result is 35 000,00 zł. 200000 × 12% gives 24 000,00 zł. 100000 × 0% gives 0,00 zł.

The value field is the base. The rate field is labelled as an example. 7 and 12 do not load from groups I to IV. 0 at 100000 leaves 0,00 zł, because zero times anything is zero.

Polish groups and tax-free amounts sit outside this card. 500000 at 7% is 35 000,00 zł even when group I would have another allowance. That threshold is not here.

Income tax next door stacks a scale with a threshold. Belka multiplies a gain. Here an estate times one rate. 12% at 200000 leaves 24 000,00 zł.

Type 500000 and 7, then Calculate. A comma in 7.5 parses. A product sketch, not a filing and not an office decision.

500000 at 7% gives 35 000,00 zł. 200000 at 12% gives 24 000,00 zł. 100000 at 0% gives 0,00 zł. Another rate at the same value gives another result.

Formula

tax = value × (rate / 100)

How to use

  1. Type the estate value, for example 500000.
  2. Type the rate, for example 7. The label says example.
  3. Click Calculate. The result is 35 000,00 zł.
  4. 200000 and 12 give 24 000,00 zł. 100000 and 0 give 0,00 zł.
