Numerology compatibility calculator

From two dates you compute two life paths, then compare the pair. That is a gap between two reductions, not a relationship test.

Here you compare two life paths from two dates. This tool is for entertainment and learning, not fortune-telling or relationship advice. It does not replace personal, medical or financial decisions. Also try the life path number and zodiac compatibility.

How it works

Numerology compatibility compares two life path numbers. First we compute each path (year, month and day reduction with master numbers 11, 22, 33).

Then we take the absolute difference of the two values. Smaller difference means a higher score. The model starts at 100 and subtracts 8 points per difference step, with a floor of 40.

If both paths match, the score lands near the top (96-100). When both sides are master numbers or the paths are identical, we add a small bonus.

Example: 15 May 1990 (path 3) and 8 August 1988 (path 6). Difference 3 → 100 − 24 = 76, band “good compatibility”.

This is not a relationship horoscope or a judgment of a couple. It is a comparison of two date-based numbers. People with a “harder” gap can work well together; identical paths can still differ in practice.

The band is an educational label: highly compatible numbers, good, moderate, or needs more attention. Treat it as a motif map, not a verdict.

For a fuller picture, also compare zodiac elements, or compute both life paths alone and check the difference on paper.

Formula

pathA = reduce(yearA + monthA + dayA), same for pathB (keeping 11/22/33).

score = max(40, 100 − |pathA − pathB| × 8); equal paths land near 96-100, with a small master bonus.

How to use the calculator

  1. Type the value in “Birth date A” using the unit printed on that label, not a different scale.
  2. Fill “Birth date B” or the other fields if this page’s formula needs them.
  3. Click Calculate or wait for the live result.
  4. Read both life paths, the score and the compatibility band.
  5. Use the examples below for typical date pairs.

  • Quick entertainment compare of two ID or record dates.
  • Learn life-path differences on concrete pairs.
  • Workshop: pair the numeric score with motif notes for 1-9 / 11 / 22 / 33.
  • Start a set: both paths first, then compatibility.
  • Check that a paper difference matches the model.
  • Compare with zodiac compatibility for the same dates.

Frequently asked questions

What is numerology compatibility?

It compares two life path numbers from birth dates. The model returns a score and a short compatibility band.

How do you compute each life path?

Same as the life path calculator: reduce year, month and day separately, then the sum, keeping 11, 22 and 33.

What does the score mean?

Closer paths score higher. Difference 0 lands near 100; larger gaps lower the score down to a floor of 40.

Does a low score mean a “bad relationship”?

No. It is only a gap between two date numbers. Relationships depend on communication, values and context, not this model.

Is this fortune-telling or advice?

No. The calculator is entertainment and education. It does not replace specialist advice or life decisions.

Which date format should I use?

Prefer YYYY-MM-DD for both people, e.g. 1990-05-15. That avoids swapping day and month.

Why might another site show a different result?

Schools differ on reduction, master numbers and scoring scales. Here we use an explicit path-difference formula.

Does the order of dates A and B matter?

No. The difference is absolute, so swapping A and B yields the same score.

What score is 1990-05-15 with 1988-08-08 versus 1981-01-01?

First pair about 76, a decent match of paths 3 and 6. Second pair 100, the same numbers. A then B does not change the score.

What if date A is blank and B is 1988-08-08?

Error. Two ISO dates. 1990-05-15 and 1988-08-08 are in the example. One blank does not yield 76.
