How it works

The maturity number joins two classic Pythagorean layers: life path from the date and destiny (expression) from the name. We then reduce their sum to a single digit or a master number.

Life path matches the life path calculator. Destiny matches the destiny number: sum of all letter values on the A=1…Z chart, keeping 11/22/33.

Formula: maturity = reduce( life_path + destiny ), stopping on 11, 22 and 33. We do not mix in soul urge or personality here; only the full date and all name letters.

Example: 15 May 1990 (path 3) and the name Anna (destiny 3). Sum 3+3 = 6. The same date with John (destiny 2) yields 3+2 = 5.

Another case: 7 July 1977 (path 2) and Katarzyna (destiny 9). Sum 2+9 = 11, kept as master 11. 1 January 2000 (path 4) + Piotr (33) → 4+33 = 37 → 10 → 1.

In popular storytelling maturity is cast as a “bridge” between the date motif and the name style over a longer horizon. Treat that as an educational metaphor, not an age or career forecast.

Spaces and hyphens in the name are skipped; only letters after diacritic folding count. Changing the name spelling can change destiny and therefore maturity.

Use the calculator as a drill: check the sum of two known numbers and reduction with masters. Do not read the result as fortune-telling, a diagnosis or life instruction.

Formula

life path = reduce(year + month + day) (parts first, then sum; keep 11/22/33)

destiny = reduce(sum of name letter values)

maturity = reduce( life path + destiny ) keeping 11, 22, 33.

How to use the calculator

  1. Type the value in “Date of birth” using the unit printed on that label, not a different scale.
  2. Enter the full name (ideally as on an ID).
  3. Click Calculate or wait for the live result.
  4. Read the maturity number (1-9, or 11, 22, 33).
  5. Compare the parts: life path and destiny on their own.

Suggested uses

  • Combine a date profile with a name profile into one number.
  • Compare name spelling variants on the same date.
  • Practice reducing a two-number sum with masters 11/22/33.
  • Workshop entertainment: a bridge between path and destiny.
  • Verify a hand sum of life path + destiny.
  • Start a fuller set: path, destiny, maturity, soul urge.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maturity number?

It is the reduced sum of life path (from the date) and destiny (from the name), keeping master numbers 11, 22 and 33.

How do you compute life path and destiny?

Exactly as in the separate Calcboxer calculators: date reduction plus Pythagorean letter sum for the name.

Do 11, 22 and 33 stay?

Yes. If the path+destiny sum lands on 11, 22 or 33, we keep that value.

Does a middle name count?

Yes if you type it. All letters after folding count; spaces are skipped.

How is Maturity number calculator different from Life path number?

Life path uses only the date. Maturity adds destiny from the name and reduces the sum of both.

What date and name format should I use?

Date: YYYY-MM-DD. Name: Latin letters; Polish diacritics fold to the base letter.

Is this fortune-telling or a career forecast?

No. The calculator is for entertainment and learning. It does not replace personal, medical or financial decisions.

Why does a name spelling change the result?

Because destiny’s letter sum changes. A different spelling (with/without a middle name) changes that part.

What maturity number is 1990-05-15 with Anna versus John?

Path 3 plus Anna destiny 3 is maturity 6. John with the same date is 5. Changing the name spelling moves the result; the date stays 3.

What if the date is blank and the name is already Anna?

Error. You need the date and the letters. 1990-05-15 plus Anna is in the example. A blank date does not yield 6.
