AI cost calculator

You add up to three subscriptions and multiply by the team. 20, 30 and 15 for 2 people is 1,560 a year. 10 hours at 80 give 9,600 of time value and 515% ROI. Not a twelve-model TCO and not company profit.

This is not a card invoice and not EBIT. One tool: ROI calculator. Hour: labour-hour cost.

Data

Result

Tool costs, users and hours. The result will show here.

How it works

Yearly cost = (tool1 + tool2 + tool3) Γ— users Γ— 12. 20+30+15 for 2 people is 65 Γ— 2 Γ— 12 = 1,560. Time value is hours Γ— rate Γ— 12. 10 Γ— 80 Γ— 12 = 9,600. ROI = (9,600 βˆ’ 1,560) / 1,560 β‰ˆ 515%.

At least one tool cost must be above 0. Blank slots 2 and 3 count as 0. Users above 0. Hours and the rate are not negative.

The card stacks three lines and a team. The ROI calculator is one tool plus optional content revenue. Labour-hour cost helps you build a rate. Business payback divides outlay by profit, not by three subscriptions.

515% is not EBIT. We do not convert API tokens. There is no ten-tool list: there are three slots.

The result shows the year, time, ROI and months. The example button fills three costs, users, hours and the rate.

Slot is one of the three cost fields. Team multiplies the tool sum. Payback is month cost over hour value. A comma in 20.5 works. Do not put spaces in 1,000: type 1000.

How to use

  1. Type 20, 30 and 15, two users, 10 hours and a rate of 80.
  2. Click Calculate. Year 1,560, time 9,600, ROI 515%, payback 0.2 months.
  3. 80 alone for 1 person, 4 h and 50/h gives year 960 and ROI 150%.
  4. Three times 20 for 5 people and 6 h at 40 gives year 3,600 and ROI βˆ’20%.
  5. Take the rate from labour-hour cost. We will not add API tokens.

Formula

year = (c1 + c2 + c3) Γ— users Γ— 12. ROI = (hours Γ— rate Γ— 12 βˆ’ year) / year Γ— 100. months = (c1+c2+c3)Γ—users / (hours Γ— rate). year > 0.

Slot, team and ROI

20+30+15 for 2 people is 1,560 a year. 10 h Γ— 80 is 9,600.

Slot
One of three cost fields. Blank counts as 0. A total of 65 for 2 people is 130 a month.
Team
The multiplier. 2 people at 65 give 130 a month and 1,560 a year.
ROI
(Time βˆ’ cost) / cost. 8,040 / 1,560 β‰ˆ 515%. Not EBIT.
Payback
Month cost / hour value. 130 / 800 = 0.2 months.

Worked examples

Example 1

1,560 / year

20+30+15, 2 people, 10 h at 80. ROI 515%.

Example 2

150%

One tool at 80, 1 person, 4 h at 50. Year 960.

Example 3

βˆ’20%

Three times 20, 5 people, 6 h at 40. Year 3,600, time 2,880.

Suggested uses

  • You add three subscriptions of 20, 30 and 15 for two people. The year is 1,560, ROI about 515%.
  • One tool at 80 gives 150%. Compare those two before you add a third plan.

Frequently asked questions

What yearly cost from 20, 30, 15 and 2 people?

1,560. 65 Γ— 2 = 130 a month, times 12. At 10 h and 80/h time value is 9,600, ROI β‰ˆ 515%.

What do months to payback mean?

Monthly cost divided by that month's hour value. 130 / 800 = 0.2. At zero hours this result disappears.

What about 80, 1 person, 4 h and 50?

Year 960, time 2,400, ROI 150%, payback 0.4 months.

Is 515% company profit?

No. It is (time value βˆ’ cost) / cost at a rate you typed. EBIT stays outside that ratio.

Are three slots ten tools?

No. Three fields. You cannot add a fourth. Blank slots count as 0.

Do you count API tokens?

No. You type a monthly subscription, not cents per 1,000 tokens.

How is this different from the ROI calculator?

The card multiplies three costs by the team. There one tool plus optional content revenue.

Where do I take the hourly rate from?

From labour-hour cost or from an invoice. Your assumption, not a market list.
