- No — log volume from average size × count only. Add replicas, indexes, and cold tiers separately.
- How does compression work?
- The field is % of size remaining (100 = none). E.g. 40 means ~40% of bytes after compression.
- When should I enter retention?
- When planning capacity for N days — primary result = daily × days.
- What looks “bad”?
- No retention under growing traffic, or assuming peak = average.
