How it works

Calories burned at rest in this calculator is MET times weight in kg times minutes over 60. 1.3 × 70 × (60/60) = 91. The calculator writes 91, a bare rounded number. 1 × 80 × 2 = 160. 1.5 × 60 × 1.5 = 135.

The MET list is 1, 1.3, 1.5, and 1.8. Default 1.3 is sitting. 1 is lying. This is not Mifflin. BMR computes a base from weight, height, age, and sex, with no session minutes.

The kcal-per-minute, BMR, and TDEE rows are extras. 91 does not wait for height. Without a profile you still get 91. The TDEE percent stays hidden too.

Daily TDEE lives on the TDEE card. The resting base without movement lives on BMR. Here a time slice at a low MET, for example an hour of sitting at 70 kg.
